Marta Subirà i Roca (Barcelona, 1972) is a Catalan politician and public manager, Secretary for the Environment and Sustainability of the Government of the Generalitat of Catalonia since January 2016. Since June 2021 she is President of Railways of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
Her professional career, which began in the field of communication, has focused on environmental management, sustainable mobility, and the fight against climate change, and has been considered one of the 8 most influential women in the protection of the environment in the Spanish state.
From his position of responsibility, he has promoted the voice of the government of Catalonia before international organizations, such as the United Nations, participating in international Summits on Climate Change of the United Nations since 2009, in Summits of the Convention on Biological Biodiversity or before the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), among others.
