Stefano Lacaita has more than 30 years of professional experience, most of it as General Manager in multinational companies and technology startups. He is Italian, speaks six languages and has managed businesses in over 30 countries. He has led companies and business units in Europe and America. Most recently, he has been involved in the acceleration and sale of a startup to a well-known US multinational.
He currently advises companies and technology startups in different sectors, and participates as a mentor in startup incubation and acceleration programs.
He is an associate professor at the University of Girona.
