Juan Antonio March was the Spanish Ambassador to the United Nations who introduced a work of contemporary art in a large conference room for the first time. He was the one who thought of and promoted the entry of Miquel Barceló into the life of the UN with its magnificent dome. As General Director of Cooperation with Ibero-America, he inspired the Ibero-American Summits Cooperation Treaty and created the great contemporary cooperation programs such as Intercampus and Ibermedia.
