Mike is Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events, organizer of the Worlds’ largest Audio-Visual and Systems Integration Exhibition.
Mike is an experienced industry leader with a demonstrated history of working in the event management sector. He is a highly skilled and creative Manager with proven success in Sales, Marketing and Business Management with a strong background in Business Development and Strategy. During his career he has launched a host of technology events across Europe. His experience and success have reflected themselves in taking many businesses from startup to profitability.
Always up to date, Mike is an avid tech fan and has been involved in technology publishing and events for more than 35 years. In the past 17 years he has been focused on the AV sector where he has built Integrated Systems Europe from scratch to the largest Audio-Visual & Electronic Systems Exhibition in the World. Working (then) with a team of just three, he launched ISE in a single exhibition hall in Geneva in 2004. Since then, Mike has consistently grown the event: floor space has increased thirty-fold, attendee numbers twenty-fold and exhibitor numbers eleven-fold. Today, Integrated Systems Europe is the world’s largest exhibition and conference for professional commercial and residential audiovisual and electronic systems integration.
ISE has outgrown its previous home for the past 15 years in Amsterdam and now prepares for its’ future in Barcelona. Under his stewardship, ISE has created more events and conferences focused on AV Systems Integration and solutions making it Europes’ leading organizer for the sector.
An avid public speaker, he enthusiastically represents the business and evangelizes the industry and its attributes to any audience. He is an effective networker, successful at developing important and relevant business relationships in every sector in which he has been involved. In 2020 Installation Magazine voted Mike the the most influential person in the Pro AV Industry.
As Managing Director of the leading in the AV Industry event, Mikes’ role involves not only leading the team that organizes the event but also diplomatically managing the relationships with its owners, board of directors, key customers, and partners as well as government leaders.
